Hoya, July 7, 2026: Optimized handling and expanded selection: The new wheel configurator from HARTJE offers a wide range of CONTEC wheels as well as custom wheel builds.
Hermann Hartje KG has completely redesigned its wheel configurator. Via the B2B portal MeinHARTJE, wheels can now be configured and ordered according to individual requirements more easily than ever before. Step by step, the handling-optimized and expanded configurator guides users through the extensive range of rims, hubs, and spokes – ultimately delivering the desired wheel, which can also be shipped quickly thanks to the company’s in-house logistics.
The new HARTJE wheel configurator can be accessed with just a few clicks on www.meinhartje.com when logged in, or directly via https://meinhartje.com/configurator/wheel. The new system, which was planned and implemented by HARTJE’s Digital Department, has been thoroughly tested and has already enjoyed a successful launch.
The continuously growing range of production wheels sold under the CONTEC brand alone currently offers more than 800 possible combinations, collectively covering virtually all areas of application: whether it is the classic 28” city wheel with hub dynamo, the high-performance 29” mountain bike wheel with a tubeless-ready rim, or the robust 20” cargo wheel with a premium cassette hub.
In addition to the production of standard wheels, the configurator offers the possibility of having wheels custom-built, with virtually unlimited configuration options – right down to the choice of spoke color. In the aftermarket sector, the wheel configurator on MeinHARTJE is therefore the largest of its kind in Germany.

The right wheel in just a few clicks
The desired wheel can be configured in just a few steps: The configuration process begins either with the selection of the rim, wheel size, and specification, or via the hub, where the first selection is between a front or rear wheel. Before the fully configured wheel is added to the shopping cart, the final step is choosing the spokes.
A wide range of filter options – 14 for rims and 13 for hubs – helps users find the desired components:
For hubs, these include not only the manufacturer selection or the specific hub model, but also important details such as the number of spoke holes, installation width, and axle type.
For rims, details include the valve type and whether the spoke holes are single eyeleted, double eyeleted, or non-eyeleted. Additional information for each component provides a clear overview to support the selection process. Combinations of rims, hubs, and spokes that are not technically feasible are automatically excluded from the available choices by the configurator.
In terms of usability, the MeinHARTJE wheel configurator offers practical features such as sharing configurations via link or QR code and a reverse search for alternative configurations with comparable components.
The configurator is only one part of wheel production in Hoya, the headquarters of the brand and service provider HARTJE. Located in the heart of Lower Saxony, the wheel production facility also manufactures almost all wheels for the bicycle brands of the brand owner and wholesaler: CONWAY, VICTORIA, CONTOURA, QiO, and CHIKE.
The technical platform of the wheel configurator will also serve as the foundation for additional configurator offerings in the MeinHARTJE B2B shop.
