Hoya, July 1, 2026: CONTEC, the bicycle parts and accessories brand of Hermann Hartje KG, presents its new product range for the 2027 model year. Numerous innovations will expand the CONTEC portfolio from July 1, 2026, onwards, with a strong focus on safety. Key highlights include a comprehensively redesigned lighting and lock range. In addition, CONTEC is launching two new battery-powered pumps, a new repair stand and a mobile wheel truing device.

CONTEC “Strata” Rechargeable Lighting: Smart Features for Enhanced Safety and Convenience

With the new Strata series, CONTEC expands its lighting portfolio with three rechargeable LED headlights and two rechargeable LED rear lights, meeting different requirements in terms of performance, features and price.

The Strata Lead 70 and Strata Lead 90 headlights feature an integrated brightness sensor that automatically adjusts light output to ambient conditions. The Strata Lead 70 offers three lighting levels of 15, 35 and 70 lux, while the Strata Lead 90 provides 15, 45 or 90 lux. As a particularly compact and affordable alternative, the Strata Lead 40 complements the range with two light settings between 15 and 40 lux. All models are equipped with a replaceable battery that can be fully charged via USB-C within four to five hours.

For additional visibility, the range includes the Strata Tail and Strata Tail Stop rear lights. The latter features a brake light and emergency braking function that alerts other road users to braking maneuvers through a brighter or rapidly flashing signal. Both rear lights are also equipped with sensor-controlled daytime running lights.

The Strata 90 Set offers exceptional convenience: thanks to its Connect function, the headlight and rear light can be paired and switched on or off together. This provides the Strata series with modern connectivity for a fully integrated bicycle lighting experience.

Strata headlights and rear lights are available both individually and as sets. Recommended retail prices for the sets start at €39.99 for the entry-level version, €49.95 for the mid-range version and €79.95 for the premium version.

CONTEC Bicycle Locks “Duke”, “Knight” and More: Tailored Theft Protection

Four new lock families and one updated existing series now form part of the new CONTEC range. These include the new armored cable locks under the name “Duke”, chain locks from the “Knight” family, coiled cable locks under the name “Lord”, classic cable locks from the “Page” series, and new plug-in chains designed to complement compatible “PowerLoc” frame locks.

The models differ in design, length and security level, enabling customers to select the solution best suited to their individual needs. All locks feature a durable vinyl or nylon coating to protect the bicycle frame, as well as a practical mounting bracket for transport on the bike. To simplify product selection, CONTEC uses a clear naming convention: “Key” identifies lock-cylinder models, while “Combo” refers to combination-lock versions. The first number indicates the length in centimeters, while the second represents the diameter in millimeters. Selected models are also available in an “X2” version. Thanks to a precision locking cylinder enclosed in steel, they provide an additional level of security.

Recommended retail prices for the new locks range from €14.95 to €44.95, while the plug-in chains range from €39.95 to €59.95.

CONTEC “Air Tronic”: Powerful Rechargeable Pumps for Home and On-the-Go Use

With two new models, CONTEC expands its “Air Tronic” rechargeable pump series with electric solutions for various applications. The Air Tronic Mini Pro and Air Tronic Max provide effortless inflation at the push of a button.

The exceptionally compact Air Tronic Mini Pro is designed for performance-oriented cyclists who do not want to compromise on convenience while traveling. Measuring just 73 x 50 x 30 mm and weighing approximately 130 grams, the pump easily fits into a saddle bag. Despite its compact size, it delivers pressures of up to 8.3 bar or 120 psi. The pump has a recommended retail price of €89.95 and is compatible with both Schrader and Presta valves. It features a digital display as well as automatic pressure shut-off once the preset tire pressure has been reached.

For more demanding applications, the Air Tronic Max is available at a recommended retail price of €139.95. With a battery capacity of 5,200 mAh and an airflow rate of 45 liters per minute, it is suitable not only for bicycle tires but also for car and truck tires as well as inflatable mattresses. One battery charge is sufficient for up to 80 standard bicycle tire inflations. In addition to its digital pressure display, the model features an integrated work light and a power bank function.

CONTEC “Rock Steel”: New Repair Stand for Heavy Bikes and Comfortable Maintenance

With the new Rock Steel, CONTEC has found a worthy successor to its long-standing bestseller repair stand, the Rock Steady. The new addition to the range impresses with a load capacity of up to 50 kilograms and practical features, including a 360-degree rotating clamp, an adjustable working height between 110 and 170 centimeters, and a foldable design that makes the stand highly portable.
