Helmets made from recycled materials, new bikepacking and travel bags and more
Hoya, 3. Juli 2025: The bicycle parts and accessories brand from Hermann Hartje KG presents its new range. Almost 300 new products will be part of the CONTEC range from 1 July 2025. These include twelve new helmets made from recycled materials, a colourful bikepacking bag series, a relaunch of the popular CONTEC Via bag series and numerous other products.

CONTEC Abbey MIPS & Co. – Helmets made from recycled materials
Safety without headaches: When developing the twelve new helmets, the CONTEC brand's product management team took a logical approach. Not only do they cover individual safety and comfort requirements in different areas of use, they are also produced more sustainably. The new CONTEC helmets are made largely from recycled materials. These include recycled PET bottles for the straps, marine plastic for the visors and water-based paints for the coating.
The helmets range in price from an RRP of € 49.95 for the CONTEC Zuni children's helmet to an RRP of € 129.95 for the CONTEC Abbey MIPS premium city helmet. The different price points give an indication of the functionalities of the respective helmet. The higher-priced models are equipped with special features such as the MIPS system, Fidlock buckles and integrated light. The City/Commuting, Tour/Trekking, Sport and Kids ranges are now covered by helmets with matching functions and in stylish colours.

CONTEC Urban Nomads – Bikepacking bags with eye-catching colours
With the Urban Nomads, CONTEC has created a bikepacking bag collection that differs from its usual anthracite grey colour focus. The Urban Nomad bags shine in the colour variants ‘sunset orange & flamingo pink’ and ‘ocean turquoise & midnight blue’ - inspired by early risers who start their day on two wheels, but also by night owls who end the day on their bike towards the sunset. The eight-piece collection covers price points from an RRP of € 19.95 for small accessory bags up to an RRP of € 44.95 for a saddle bag.
CONTEC Via – Relaunch of a bestselling bike bag series
The Latin word “Via” means “way” and has given its name to CONTEC's best-known bike bag series for several years now. Now the HARTJE brand has renewed and expanded the CONTEC Via collection: it includes practical bags for everyday commuting, stylish shopping baskets and large-volume storage options for multi-day bike trips. All are made from 100% recycled and water-repellent polyester. The top model in the new Via series is the Via Explorer pannier rack bag with a total volume of 37 litres, available for the MIK 2.0, Racktime and AVS systems. The Via Explorer has an RRP of € 149.95. The most affordable model in the Via collection is the Via Daily single bag with an RRP of € 69.95 for a volume of around 16.5 litres.
CONTEC Rush & Co – Sporty sunglasses
For a long time, sunglasses were only a limited part of the CONTEC range. Now the full-range retailer is once again launching a wide variety: nine new models, all of which offer 100 per cent UV protection and cover different price points. The new sunglasses range from premium models such as the CONTEC Bliss Photochromic for €64.95 RRP with photochromic lenses that adapt to the ambient brightness, to sporty classics with polarised lenses, such as the CONTEC Rush Polarized for € 59.95 RRP, to basic models such as the CONTEC Twist for € 24.95.
CONTEC Air Tronic Mini – Mini battery pump
Last year, CONTEC launched its first battery pump, the Air Tronic. Now the full-range supplier is releasing the compact version CONTEC Air Tronic Mini: It takes just 120 seconds to inflate a tyre with a Schrader or Presta valve and achieves an air pressure of 8.3 bar or 120 psi. Its battery charge is sufficient for two large tyres. This and its compact size of just 7 cm in length, as well as the flexible hose, make the Air Tronic Mini the ideal companion on bike tours. The RRP of the new mini rechargeable pump from CONTEC is € 69.95.
